The Evolving Italian Intelligence System:History,Structure and Practice
[Research purpose]By exploring the historical evolution,organizational structure,and focus areas of the Italian intelligence system,this study aims to provide valuable experiences and insights for the enhancement of the Chinese intelligence system.[Research method]Historical analysis and systematic analysis methods are utilized to review the evolutionary process of the Italian intelligence sys-tem from 1859 to the present,revealing its status and role in different historical periods;discussing the organizational structure of the Ital-ian intelligence system to clarify the responsibilities of its internal functional departments;gaining insight into the significant focus areas of Italian intelligence activities,such as geopolitical crisis,global transformation,and national security,and thereby examining how Italy ad-dresses various threats and challenges.[Research conclusion]From the historical evolution,organizational structure,and practical expe-rience of Italian intelligence system in addressing geopolitical crises,global transformation,and national security,this system has demon-strated significant flexibility,collaboration,coordination,and standardization.Drawing on the experience of Italian intelligence system,China can further improve the construction of its intelligence system from the perspectives of"flexible response,collaborative cooperation,efficient coordination,and legal safeguard",effectively addressing current and future threats and challenges.
