[Research purpose]Guan zi-Wen is an article about work and research on national security intelligence of ancient China,in-vestigations carried out in it are mostly based on national security.Though Guan zi-Wen is considered as a monography on national securi-ty intelligence,there's a lack of research of the article as well as understanding of its value.[Research method]By analyzing the content of Guan zi-Wen,this paper explains national security intelligence concepts in Guan zi-Wen from three aspects,pursuing national status based on preparing for military conflicts,concerning war time economy and human resources based on domestic situation,and preventing infiltration of enemy based on raising awareness of counter-intelligence,meanwhile,combined with the contemporary background of"un-precedented competition"era,putting forward investigation methods and indicating its significance in building national security discipline.[Research conclusion]Guan zi-Wen attaches importance to the careful investigation of all aspects affecting national security,and also es-tablishes the paradigm of ancient working of national security intelligence,which is of special value to the construction of national security intelligence and the study of intelligence history.The discussion of the inextricable relationship between the construction of national securi-ty discipline and the construction of intelligence science highlights the importance of solid and effective intelligence work,which is also an important revelation for today's relevant work.
