Concealment and Unveiling:Influence of Algorithms on Personal Information Security and Its Countermeasures——Expansion Based on Media Visibility Perspective
[Research purpose]To fully reveal the negative effects of the application and popularization of algorithm technology on the se-curity protection of personal information and its internal reasons,and then deeply explore the effective measures to deal with these negative effects,so as to realize the security breakthrough of personal information under the cover of algorithm.[Research method]Based on the existing research,this paper makes full use of interdisciplinary research methods,discusses the conflicts and contradictions between the ap-plication of algorithm technology and personal information security from the perspective of media visibility,and then explores the specific solutions to the conflicts.[Research conclusion]The application and popularization of algorithm technology leads to a logical inversion between the original intention of individuals to pursue concealment and the platform's pursuit of transparency oriented to commercial inter-ests,and poses a threat to citizens'individual privacy,individual autonomy and individual rejection right.In order to remove the improper shielding of algorithms against individual information security,we should follow the humanistic concept,start from the technical side,the regulatory side and the client side,and solve it in multiple dimensions by optimizing the mechanism of algorithm design and operation,al-gorithm supervision and accountability,algorithm public participation assurance and other aspects.
