Analysis of the U.S.Intelligence Community's"Foreign Malign Influence Center"
[Research purpose]This paper tries to get a glimpse of the basic features of the U.S.intelligence work on countering foreign disinformation and malign influence through analysis of the basic work,priorities,characteristics and advantages of the U.S.Intelligence Community's"Foreign Malign Influence Center".[Research method]The paper first defines the concept and connotation of"foreign malign influence",then uses the literature analysis method to trace the development and evolution of the center,sort out its functions,tasks,institutional settings,working principles and basic processes,summarize its work characteristics from the business scope,approaches and methods,key areas,core objectives and other aspects,and analyze and evaluate its positive as well as negative aspects.[Research conclusion]Represented by"Foreign Malign Influence Center",the U.S.intelligence work on countering foreign disinformation and ma-lign influence has relatively distinct advantages,but its practice of public opinion hegemony in the name of"anti-foreign malign influ-ence"is worthy of vigilance.
