Research on the Validity Assessment of Disruptive Index Measurement Methods and Its Influencing Factors
[Research purpose]The advancement of disruptive index provides new perspectives and methods for quantitatively analyzing the innovativeness of scientific research,and exploring the validity and influencing factors of disruptive index and its improvement methods will help researchers to deeply understand and rationally apply the relevant quantitative calculation methods,and provide references for its future algorithmic improvement and expanded application.[Research method]The papers in the field of life sciences published in Sci-ence journals were selected as the research dataset,and the effectiveness of four typical disruptive innovation measurement methods was as-sessed based on the peer-reviewed results.The correlation between influencing factors such as citation relationship and partnership,and disruptive index measurement methods was explored through regression analysis,to analyze the feasibility of introducing relevant influen-cing factors to improve the disruptive index measurement methods.[Research conclusion]The results show that different disruptive index measures exhibit different validity,among which the Dn index and the Rela_DZ index are more adequate to better measure the degree of disruptiveness.In addition,the number of references and the number of authors are negatively correlated with its degree of disruptive inno-vation,and the number of organizations is positively correlated with it,which can be incorporated into the disruptive innovation measure-ment method to further improve and expand the disruptive index.
