Rachel Carson is the most influential female writer in the 20th century on the movement of environmental protection, and her book Silent Spring has aroused the consciousness of environmental protection of the people al over the world. This paper has stressed the great importance of this great woman on environmental protection through literature consulting and comparison with our Chinese environmental movement, with the aim to change the wrong concept of the Chinese and improve the poor situation in China.
