Finite Element Analysis and Optimization of a Transmission Accumulator Bracket
Accumulators are an essential part of high-pressure hydraulic systems, and their normal operation is crucial for the transmission to perform functions such as gear shifting and clutch engagement. The accumulator bracket is the device that secures it to the casing.During testing of a transmission prototype,a failure occurred due to the fracture of the accumulator bracket, leading to the malfunction of the transmission's related functions.Through investigation and analysis,it is found to be caused by design reasons. This paper conducts a strength analysis of the accumulator bracket using the finite element method, revealing that there is a risk of fracture failure under extreme conditions.Based on the analysis results, the accumulator bracket is optimized, and a design that meets the requirements is ultimately obtained, which has successfully passed the tests. The analysis methods and optimization ideas mentioned in the text have certain reference value for the design and development,as well as simulation analysis of accumulators.
