Research and Application of the Side Pole Crash Safety of a Fuel Cell Vehicle
Because fuel cell vehicle has the particularity of fuel system,it is different from traditional vehicle and pure electric vehicle,so there are many new problems in the research of crash safety.In this paper,the performance of a fuel cell vehicle under different crash safety standard conditions China insurance automotive safety index(C-IASI),50 km/h side crash,China-new car assessment program(C-NCAP),50 km/h side crash and C-NCAP,32 km/h side pole impact is verified.By comparing the dummy damage value and the maximum deformation of the door,it is confirmed that the fuel cell vehicle will be tested more severely under the condition of side pole impact.Through simulations,the damage degree of different risk points under side pole impact conditions are compared and analyzed to determine the most critical risk position in the aspect of hydrogen leakage safety.The position is the valve of the front hydrogen tank.Based on the risk position,the crash test is carried out,the cause of gas leakage is confirmed,and the corresponding structure optimization is carried out,it provides a certain reference for the research of fuel cell vehicle crash safety.
