Research on Frontal 25%Offset Collision Simulation of a Car Based on LS-DYNA
In order to reduce casualties and property losses caused by vehicle collisions,based on the test procedure of China insurance automotive safety index(C-IASI),this paper establishes a finite element simulation model of frontal 25%offset collision with a certain car as the research object.The safety performance of vehicle in small offset collision is evaluated from the two aspects of vehicle deformation and dummy damage value,and the simulation model is optimized.The optimization results show that the maximum displacement of column A decreases from 159.38 mm to 94.73 mm,which is reduced by 40.73%.The maximum displacement of Shotgun decreases from 60.52 mm before optimization to 50.56 mm,a decrease of 16.44%.The maximum intrusion of the front coiling decreased from 226.78 mm before optimization to 203.29 mm,decreasing by 10.36%.The head injury criterion(HIC)of the dummy is decreased by 39.89%,and the viscous criterion(VC)of the dummy is decreased by 32.48%.This study can provide reference for the subsequent small bias crash test and vehicle structure optimization.
