Exploring the Developmental Path of College Teachers'Scholarship of Teaching
The scholarship of teaching is related to the long-term professional development of college teachers and the o-verall improvement of teaching quality in higher education.Through semi-structured interviews,the current de-velopmental status of college teachers'scholarship of teaching was explored from three aspects:cognition about scholarship of teaching,experience in scholarship of teaching,and the relationship between scholarship of teach-ing and professional development.An implementation path is then proposed for developing college teachers'scholarship of teaching,including improving the scientific and systematic cognition of scholarship of teaching,stimulating the intrinsic motivation of developing scholarship of teaching,and diversifying faculty development.This work provides implications and insights for future efforts in faculty development.
