Why Take the Postgraduate Entrance Exam after Employment?
Using the qualitative research method,this paper analyzes the psychological game process of 10 former students who resigned from employment to take Postgraduate Entrance Exam.The results shows that short-term economic gain is the primary measurement factor,peer pressure is a facilitating factor,and career interest and ac-ademic burnout are potential factors when making employment decisions after graduation.After employment,the reasons for taking postgraduate entrance examination mainly includes the change of social situation which has led to the disappointment of self-expectations,and the severe employment situation which has increased the educa-tional requirements.The reasons for the final decision to resign include the game between short-term economic in-come and long-term income lag;the contradiction between social expectation and self-actualization;and the coun-terbalance between"face"culture,loneliness psychology and self-regulation psychology.
