Analysis of"NTU2025"of Nanyang Technological University from the Perspective of Strategic Management Theory
As a research university,Nanyang Technological University has developed rapidly to become one of the first-class universities of the world in a relatively short time.In the context of the global COVID-19 pandemic,NTU stick to its tradition of running a university,releasing the"NTU2025"in 2021 which is a detailed strategy for the next five years.Based on the perspective of strategic management theory,this research analyzes the formulation process of"NTU2025"from three aspects,i.e.,strategic environment analysis,strategic objective location and strategic planning design.The research shows that"NTU2025"focuses on the strategic orientation at the national level,the effective transformation of superior resources,the scientific design of objectives,and the characteristic development of education model which can provide references for the"Double First-class"construction in China.
