The Current Situation and Challenge of Evaluating Representative Scientific Research Achievements in Shandong Province:Analysis based on the"Representative Scientific Research Achievements Evaluation Survey among Shandong Colleges and Universities"
The 2022"Representative Scientific Research Achievements Evaluation Survey among Shandong Colleges and Universities"revealed the findings as follows:there is a high degree of recognition for the necessity of evaluation;there are different understandings of the form and quantity of achievements;small peer experts are the most recognized evaluation subjects;academic universities have sufficient conditions for implementation;and professional title evaluation is the most important field for the application of evaluating results.Currently,there are two major problems:difficulty in reaching consensus on evaluation standards and ineffective implementation of evaluation systems,and evaluation satisfaction urgently demanding further improvement.A sound classification and grading evaluation system,adherence to quality standards and innovation orientation in the process of determining results,and continuous improvement of the peer review system are feasible paths to solve the above problems.
