大学生读研意愿:学校群体与先赋差异——基于BCSPS数据的多水平分析

研究生教育意愿的影响因素及其作用机制是现有研究尚未充分讨论的问题.使用首都大学生成长追踪调查基线数据进行多水平分析方法结果显示,大学生读研意愿受到家庭背景、自身特征和学校因素的综合影响.其中,学校因素主要通过同伴群体对大学生读研意愿发生作用.除直接影响外,同伴群体因素还通过调节效应间接影响学业表现对读研意愿的作用强度.细分来看,国内读研选择主要与个人因素和同伴因素有关,而国外读研选择主要受到家庭条件因素的影响.相关结论可为进一步理解家庭教育投资行为,认识学校在研究生教育机会获得中的作用机制提供一定的参考.
Graduate Choice:School Peer Group and Ascribed Difference——A Multilevel Analysis Based on BCSPS Data
The influence factors and their mechanism on postgraduate education opportunities are not fully discussed in the present study.Applying Beijing College Students Panel Survey data and multilevel analysis model,we find that college students'graduate choices are influenced by family background,their own characters and school peer group factors.Among them,school peer group not only have a direct impact on the graduate choice of college students,but also indirectly influence the action intensity of academic performance on the willingness to postgraduate education by moderation effect.In terms of subdivision,the choice of domestic study is mainly related to individual factors and peer group factors,while the choice of overseas study is mainly influenced by family conditions.These findings can provide a reference for further understanding of the behavior of family education investment and the role of school in the attainment of postgraduate education opportunities.
