Research on the Impact of Economic Stimulus Plan on the Quality of Export Products of Chinese Enterprises
Taking China's implementation of the"Four trillion"economic stimulus plan as a quasi-natural experiment from 2003 to 2013,the impact and mechanism of economic stimulus plans on the quality of ex-port products of enterprises were tested using the matching data of China Customs Database,China Indus-trial Enterprise Database,and China City Statistical Yearbook.The results show that the economic stimu-lus plan significantly improves the quality of export products for enterprises by increasing R&D investment and alleviating financing constraints.Due to the different nature of enterprises and trade methods,the eco-nomic stimulus plan has a more significant effect on improving the quality of exported products for private and foreign-funded enterprises,enterprises engaged in general trade methods,and enterprises in the east-ern and western regions.
