Effect of Personalized Nutrition Intervention on the Risk Factors and Prognosis of Gout
82 male gout patients who had outpatient visits from January to December 2022 and expressed a strong desire for non-pharmacological treatment were selected and randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group to investigate the impact of personalized nutritional intervention and health management on hyperuricemia and physical fitness in gout patients. The control group received lifestyle intervention, while the experimental group underwent personalized nutritional intervention for a period of 3 months. The research shows that the incidence of gout is higher and occurs at a younger age in the study area. The body mass index, waist circumference, and serum uric acid level of the control group decrease, while other indicators do not show significant changes after the intervention. The body mass index, waist circumference, serum uric acid, and blood lipids of the experimental group significantly decrease, with the serum uric acid levels of most patients returning to the normal range. Thus, personalized nutritional inter-vention can effectively enhance the nutritional health status of gout patients, reduce serum uric acid levels, and contribute to improved prognosis.
