The Impulse Response Simulation Method for the Structure Imposed on Projectile Hyper Velocity Impact
Equipment may fail due to external strikes.Previous research has mostly focused on the damage and destruction of the impacted area. But little research has been conducted on the shock wave generated by the impact and its propagation within the equipment, which can also lead to equipment failure. This paper addresses the issue of modeling the shock response of structures under high-speed impact, proposes a modeling method for the impact source of structures under high-speed impact, and provides the applicable conditions of the modeling method through theoretical analysis.By utilizing traditional finite element techniques and combining the proposed impact source modeling method, the impact response of structures under high-speed impact can be effectively simulated. The applicability of the method has been verified through experiments.
