Research on Flow Field Visualization Technology in Burst Mode 10kHz PLIF
In response to the demand for high dynamic visualization of the supersonic flow field in wind tunnels,a mobile 10kHz pulse train mode plane laser induced fluorescence(PLIF)system that can be used for engineering has been developed, the monopulse ultraviolet laser energy is 5mJ,and the optical size is 10~20cm.The field spatial resolution can reach the order of hundreds of microns, which can realize the transient measurement of the super-sonic flow field structure.Using this PLIF system,a visual measurement study of the flow field structure of the flow around a cylinder is carried out in a small direct current wind tunnel.Acetone molecule is selected as a tracer, the influence of different acetone injection speeds on the flow field structure is studied, and the dynamic change process of the fine structure of the tangential flow field is obtained. The experimental results show that the developed high-frequency PLIF system has laid the foundation for measuring supersonic wind tunned flow field.
