An Exploration of Teaching Reform of Integrating Moral Education into English Speaking Course Based on POA
The fundamental task of education lies in moral education.Incorporating moral education into college English courses is the focus of teaching design.As one of the compulsory courses for English majors,English speech has some drawbacks,such as the weakening of high-level teaching objectives,the lack of local awareness,value shaping and cross-cultural thinking.Based on the Production-oriented Approach,this paper takes English speech course as an example to explore how to design output tasks in line with the theme of moral education as a driving force and build"scaffolding"to guide students to complete the task.Finally,the task is evaluated through teacher-student collaborative assessment with the focus on enhancing the teaching effect of moral education.
