Abstract
This article elaborates on the overview of the English Speaking Skills Competition in vocational colleges.By analyzing the current situation of vocational college students'English oral learning,this article explores the ways to the improvement of teaching and learning of spoken English in vocational colleges from the perspectives of concept updating,ideological and political integration,textbook improvement,teacher changes,student autonomy,assessment adjustment,and mechanism incentives.
