This paper introduces the situation and significance of safety training.The traditional safety training is boring,lack of interaction and poor training effect.In order to solve these problems,this paper takes the safety management of main engine installation during the shipbuilding process as an example to introduce the safety management training mode based on virtual reality technology.Virtual reality technology has advantage of motion-sensing and interactivity,it can make trainees understand the operation points and safety hidden points quickly.Take virtual reality technology into safety training makes safety training funny,and has actual combat effect too.Students can learn several times without any cost increase,which greatly improves the safety training effect.
