Sequence characteristics and homology analysis of Apis mellifera ligustica Ethanolamine Kinase 1
This paper analyzes the sequence characteristics and homology of ETNK1 of Apis mellifera ligustica by using bioinformatics analysis.The analysis of physical and chemical properties shows that ET-NK1 is composed of 348 amino acid residues with a relative molecular weight of 41.54 kD,and is a nega-tively charged and stable hydrophilic protein.According to the analysis of transmembrane structure,ET-NK1 has no transmembrane helix and is not a transmembrane protein.ETNK1 is likely to be located in the cytoskeleton through the analysis of nuclear localization signal and subcellular localization.The analysis of protein modification sites shows that ETNK1 has 19 phosphorylation sites and no glycosylation sites.The results of multi-sequence alignment of amino acids show that the homology of ETNK1 in different honey-bee species is higher.Phylogenetic tree analysis shows that the ETNK1 of Apis mellifera ligustica is simi-lar to that of Apis dorsata and Apis laboriosa.This research is expected to provide support for further study on the structure and function of Apis mellifera ligustica ETNK1.
