Research on second-hand seller game and pricing strategy considering counterfeit intervention under blockchain technology
The counterfeiting phenomenon in the second-hand market is common, and the traceability function of blockchain technology can solve this problem well. But in the early stage of blockchain develop-ment,the authenticity of on-chain information cannot be fully guaranteed and the use of blockchain tech-nology requires costs. This article constructs a Stackelberg game consisting of high-quality sellers selling genuine products and low-quality sellers selling counterfeit products and analyzes the optimal strategy of sellers in the following basic scenario:neither seller uses blockchain technology(NN model),only high-quality sellers use blockchain technology(BN model),and both sellers use blockchain technology(BB model). It is found that low-quality sellers also adopt blockchain technology under certain conditions, and can promote high-quality sellers to disclose more product information.Numerical experimemts show that when both high-quality sellers and low-quality sellers adopt blockchain technology, consumer surplus is the largest.
