Preparation and Performance of Electro Hydro Dynamic Mute Pump
In order to realize fast,accurate and intelligent active control,an electro hydro dynamics(EHD)mute pump was designed and prepared.This kind of pump is a kind of non-mechanical pump based on the direct interaction between electric field and dielectro-hydraulic.It adopted a sandwich structure.The upper and lower electrodes were completely symmetrical and arranged in a comb-tooth shape.The middle was a channel layer with a width of 2 mm and a height of 1 mm,which was filled with dielectro-hydraulic.Under the high-intensity electric field,the dissociation of impurities or weak electrolytes in dielectro-hydraulic generated free charge,resulting in the flow of dielectro-hydraulic.In order to have a deeper understanding of the influencing factors of the driving force of the electro hydro dynamic mute pump,the liquid level difference to characterize the driving force of the mute pump was used.The influence of different electrode spacing,different electrode width and different electrode pair spacing on the driving force of the mute pump was analyzed by the control variable method.The results show that different electrode widths have little effect on the driving force;under the same voltage before the breakdown,the smaller the electrode spacing,the greater the driving force;under the same voltage before breakdown,the driving force does not change much after the electrode pair spacing is greater than 4 mm.
