Effect of Pre-Strain on Mechanical Properties and Martensitic Transformation of S30408 Stainless Steel
In order to explore the change rule of the mechanical properties of S30408 stainless steel under different pre-strain,and provide reference for reasonable evaluation of deformation behavior of related components. In this paper, uniaxial tensile tests were carried out on S30408 stainless steel under different pre-strain at room temperature. The influence of pre-strain on the mechanical properties and martensitic transformation were studied. On the basis, the constitutive models considering pre-strain including modified Ludwigson were constructed.Combined with the embrittlement model based on Johnson-Cook model, the mechanical properties of the materials after pre-strain were reasonably predicted. The results show that the yield strength of S30408 stainless steel increases obviously, the tensile strength increases slowly, and the elongation decreases with the increase of the pre-strain.The microstructure and precipitated phase composition with different pre-strain were analyzed through metallographic analysis and X-ray diffraction experiment. The deformation included martensitic transformation of S30408 stainless steel appears gradually, when the pre-strain reaches 9%.Finally,the stress-strain relationship of S30408 stainless steel with different pre-strain is reasonably predicted.
