Research on Viscosity Reduction of High-Viscosity Fermentation Reactants Based on CFD Simulation
In order to achieve rapid viscosity reduction and liquefaction of pretreatment slurry of one or more mixtures of agricultural and forestry residues such as corn stover, corn cob,and wheat stover, the viscosity reduction research was conducted. The viscosity reduction mechanism of the materials in the mixture was assumed, and the CFD simulation technology was used to creatively simulate the unsteady state of the liquid-solid two-phase flow of the stirring viscosity reduction system with the combination of stirring structure, material pretreatment type and liquefaction process, and the distribution of velocity field and turbulent flow field was explored, and the structure size of the bioreactor and the viscosity reduction liquefaction process were determined. The results show that the average particle size of the material with an average particle size of 830 to 1 450 μm in the reaction kettle with the size of 70 or 75 mm and the upper and lower stirrers.Under the condition of 200 to 300 r/min stirring speed, the optimal effect of stirring liquefaction process can be realized,so that the stirring viscosity reduction system with reduced viscosity is determined, and the test verification is carried out at the same time, and the effect is ideal. The CFD simulation results and analysis can provide a reference for the design of the agitator of the reactor and the optimization of the liquefaction and saccharification process.
