In the DZ/T 0064.65-2021"Analysis Method for Groundwater Quality",the turbidimetric method for the determination of sulfates is sensitive to experimental conditions, the linearity of the standard curve is poor, and the data accuracy cannot meet the requirements.By changing the morphology of barium chloride(crystals turn into solution),lengthening the standing time after stirring, and increasing the amount of mixed stabilizer, the changes in absorbance and standard curve correlation coefficients were analyzed to find out the experimental conditions that meet the accuracy of the test data.,allowing this method to be better applied in practice. The experimental results show that changing the above experimental conditions has a great impact on absorbance;changing the form of barium chloride, increasing the added amount of mixed stabilizer and lengthening the standing time after stirring can all improve the linear correlation of the standard curve, and the correlation coefficient R2 can reach 0.999,thereby improving the accuracy of detection data, providing more accurate data support for engineering investigation, and providing a stronger guarantee for project quality and safety.
