In this study, bipolar membrane electrodialysis(BMED)technology was used to treat anaerobic digestion liquor of kitchen waste, and the desalination and NH3-N recovery properties under different current densities were explored. The results showed that at a current density of 500 A/m2,BMED achieved the best performance, with a desalination rate of 86%in the digestion liquor, and a removal rate of 90%and 26%for NH3-N and COD,respectively. At the same time, salt is converted into acid and alkali is recovered, and NH3-N is converted into NH3·H2O.The acid and alkali concentrations reach 0.071 mol/L and 0.045 mol/L respectively, and the recovery rate of NH3-N reaches 90%.This study provides a new method for the resource treatment of anaerobic digestion liquor of kitchen waste.
