With the rapid development of highway construction in China, the construction of ultra-large-section double-hole tunnels has become the focus of attention.Based on ABAQUS finite element software, this paper carries out numerical simulation and analysis on the dynamic construction mechanical behavior of a super-large cross-section double-hole tunnel using CRD method. The research results show that the rearward excavation of the right tunnel will cause secondary disturbance and displacement superposition on the surrounding rock of the left tunnel, resulting in an increase in the settlement and influence range of the surrounding rock;at the same time, the excavation of the right tunnel will affect the horizontal stress and the waist expansion value in the waist area of the left tunnel,as well as the horizontal stress and the shoulder convergence value in the shoulder area.During the excavation of the leading tunnel, the excavation of the trailing tunnel releases underground stress, which affects the supporting structure of the leading tunnel. The research results have important guiding significance for the construction of super-large cross-section double-hole tunnels.
