The Wenzhou-Fuzhou high-speed railway is an important part of the main axis from the Yangtze River Delta to the Guangdong-Hongkong-Macao Greater Bay Area of the main framework of the national comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network.It is also a key section of the coastal high-speed railway channel of the main framework of the national"eight-vertical and eight-horizontal"high-speed railway network.This paper first uses the"four-stage"prediction method to predict the transportation demand of the project,and then analyzes the role of the project in the national economy,comprehensive transportation system and road network.Based on the characteristics of traffic volume and its role,the functional positioning of the line is proposed,which will provide reference for project construction.
