EFFECTS OF SOWING DATE AND SOWING AMOUNT ON GRASS GROWTH CHARACTERISTICS OF ARTIFICIAL GRASSLAND AT THE SOUTHERN FOOT OF QILIAN MOUNTAINS
In order to clarify the effects of sowing time and sowing amount on the growth characteristics of sown grass in alpine artificial grassland,Roegneria grandiglumis,Agropyron cristatum and Festuca kryloviana seeded in the southern foot of Qilian Mountains were selected as the research objects.Throughanalyze the suitable sowing date and sowing amount of the seeded plants were analyzed in this region,to provide support for the effective construction of alpine artificial grassland. The results showed that all three plants could grow in the artificial grassland in the southern foothills of Qilian Mountains. The plant height and aboveground biomass of at June 8th sowing date were significantly higher than the other sowing dates. The response of different plants to sowing time and sowing amount was inconsistent, which showed that the A.cristatum height was highest in small sowing amount, while the R.grandiglumis height was highest in medium sowing amount at May 12th,respectively.In addition,F.kryloviana grows better than the others at June 8th.In the establishment of alpine artificial grassland at the southern foot of Qilian Mountains,it is necessary to select the appropriate sowing date and sowing amount according to the differences of forage species.
