THE IMPACT OF NO-TILLAGE RESEEDING ON MODERATELY DEGRADED ALPINE MEADOW VEGETATION COMMUNITIES
This study evaluated the effects of no-tillage reseeding with Poa partensis cv.Qinghai,Elymus nutans and Festuca sinensis on the vegetation community of moderately degraded alpine meadows. The results indicate that no-tillage reseeding significantly increased plant biomass and diversity indices while reducing dominance indices, indicating increased richness of plant species.Furthermore,no-tillage reseeding significantly altered the vegetation community structure by enhancing the dominance of Gramineae and Cyperaceae, suggesting its contribution to enhancing the target plant community and suppressing weed populations detrimental to grassland restoration.Additionally, this measure enhanced species interactions, improving vegetation community stability, thereby providing important ecological foundations for grassland ecosystem restoration and management.
