EFFECTS OF INTERCROPPING OATS AND LEGUMINOUS FORAGE ON ROOT NODULES AND SOIL NUTRIENTS AROUND QINGHAI LAKE
This study examined the effect of rhizobial soil nitrogen fixation and soil nutrients about intercropping oats and leguminous forage in the Qinghai Lake area. The results showed that intercropping oats(Avena sativa L.)with faba beans(Vicia faba L.),peas(Pisum sativum L.)and mung beans(Vigna radiata(L.)R.Wilczek)positively enhanced soil organic matter, soil total nitrogen, soil total phosphorus, soil total potassium, and soil organic carbon. The 5:5 intercropping pattern of oats and faba beans was the best optimal combination.
