INVESTIGATION OF PLANTS RESOURCE IN CAMPUS OF QINGHAI NORMAL UNIVERSITY
In order to understand the species composition and plant invasion situation of plants on the campus of Qinghai Normal University,a comprehensive investigation was conducted on the plant resources within the campus.The results showed there are 127 species of plants in 96 genera of 40 families on campus,including 5 species of gymnosperms in 3 genera of 2 families and 122 species of angiosperms in 93 genera of 38 families.There are 51 cultivated plants and 76 wild plants on campus.There are 12 types of invasive plants,which include 11 naturally invasive plants in the wild,and 1 specie is an artificially cultivated introduced plant,and the families with more invasive plants are Asteraceae,Leguminosae,and Cruciferae.Overall,campus species diversity is relatively rich.In order to highlight regional characteristics and have better leverage landscape and ecological benefits,it is recommended to strengthen the introduction of indigenous garden plants and the planting of shrubs and evergreen tree species.
