Influence of Cable Defects on Temperature Variation in Power System Operation
Aiming at the difference of cable temperature caused by cable joint defects in power system,the influence of cable defects on temperature is studied.The simulation model is built by ANSYS software,the grid is divided and the boundary condition is set,and the simulation analysis is carried out.The variation of central temperature and composite interface temperature of different defect types were studied,and the influence of different defect sizes on temperature was also studied.The results show that different types of defects lead to different temperature variations.In the radial direction of cable joint,the temperature variation of metal particle defects is the largest,and that of water droplet defects is the smallest,the surface temperature of the defects with radius of 5mm and 10mm is the highest,and the surface temperature of the defects with radius of 5mm and 10mm is the highest,the air gap defect type has the lowest outer surface temperature,and the temperature variation of semi-conductive and water droplet defect basically coincides with the temperature curve of normal cable,and the variation is small.
