Effects of two types of water-retaining agents on the growth and yield of Avena sativa L.in alpine region
To explore the effects of different types of water-retaining agents on the growth and yield of Avena sativa L.in alpine region,K(granular water-retaining agent)and F(powder water-retaining agent)are applied at four dosages, including 1(11.25 kg/hm2),2(22.5 kg/hm2),3(33.75 kg/hm2)and 4(45 kg/hm2).The effects of different types of water-retaining agents on the growth, yield and economic benefits of Avena sativa L.are investigated under different dosages taking CK as control. The results show that with the increase of granular water-retaining agent, the yields of Avena sativa L.seed and straw show a trend of first increasing and then decreasing.Com-pared with CK,the seed and straw yields of K2 treatment increase by 32.6%and 6.27%respective-ly,and the economic benefits increase by 31.4%.With the increase of powder water-retaining agent, the yield of Avena sativa L.seed and straw both show an increasing trend.Compared with CK,the seed and straw yields of F4 treatment increase by 34.7%and 6.69%respectively,and the economic benefits increase by 27.4%.Correlation and path analysis show that the yield of Avena sativa L.seed is significantly positively correlated with the number of spikelets per plant, the number of grains per plant and the weight of grains per plant(P<0.01).In summary, both K2(22.5 kg/hm2)and F4(45 kg/hm2)treatments can increase the yield of Avena sativa L.in alpine region, with K2 treatment having the best economic benefits.
