Temperature effects of longspan corrugated steel web box girder bridge
There is a significant temperature gradient effect in the corrugated steel web box girder un-der sunlight.Therefore,a study of temperature field and temperature effect is conducted on the corru-gated steel web box girder of Huian Yellow River Bridge in Guide County,Hainan Prefecture of Qinghai Province.Firstly,the distribution of transverse and vertical temperature fields is obtained by analyzing on-site observation data.Secondly,using the least squares method in MATLAB software to fit the temperature gradient of corrugated steel web box girder,a mathematical calculation model for the transverse and vertical temperature gradient of corrugated steel web cast-in-place box girder is constructed,and the transverse and vertical temperature gradient modes of corrugated steel web are established.Finally,a three-dimensional numerical calculation model of corrugated steel web box girder is established,verified and carried out through measured temperature field data.The results are as follows:The measured maximum temperature of concrete roof shows significant uneven-ness.The horizontal and vertical temperature gradient patterns are both piecewise functions.The nu-merical simulation model can meet the accuracy requirements in simulating the temperature changes of corrugated steel web box girders.Based on the temperature gradient model calculation,the maxi-mum tensile stress of the bridge occurs at the junction of the top plate and web plate,and its value is relatively large.It can be seen that the construction of longspan corrugated steel web bridges in the upper reaches of the Yellow River should pay attention to temperature effect.
