Causes and countermeasures of high nitrogen usage in annealing furnaces
After the bypass cooling system is turned on in the annealing furnace, the oxy-gen content in the furnace chamber increases to about 1.0%-1.5%.The annealing process requires the oxygen content in the furnace chamber to be stable below 0.2%,so a large a-mount of nitrogen gas is needed to reduce the oxygen content. After analysis, the nitrogen in-let pipeline, exhaust pipeline, corresponding valves and sensors are added to the bypass cooling system. Before the bypass system is turned on,nitrogen is filled in to discharge the original air,and any possible leakage in the nitrogen flow path is eliminated. After taking these measures, the nitrogen usage of each furnace is reduced by about 9 763.2 N/m3,and the product quality is improved.
