Study on adhesion and high temperature properties of Nano-SiO2 modified asphalt modified by silane coupling agent
In this paper,nano SiO2 modified by surface silane coupling agent(content 3%)was used as modi-fier to modify No.90 matrix asphalt.The modifier content was 0%,2%,4%,6%,8%,10%,12%,14%.The change rules of adhesion and high temperature properties of modified asphalt were studied through needle penetra-tion test,asphalt softening point test,asphalt rotational viscosity test and asphalt rheological property test.The test data were fitted with Origin software.The results show that with the increase of Nano-SiO2 content modified by sur-face silane coupling agent,the penetration of asphalt decreases continuously,and the apparent viscosity,softening point,phase Angle and complex shear modulus increase continuously,which is conducive to improving the high temperature property and adhesion of asphalt.
