Research on evaluation of nodes in regional urban multi-modal transport network
With the deepening of the Belt and Road Initiative, the strategic corridor function of Gansu and Ningxia provinces is becoming increasingly prominent. To address the issue of optimizing the multimodal transport network layout, thirteen technical indicators were summarized, considering factors such as socioeconomic condi-tions,human capital, and multimodal transport infrastructure. The comprehensive multimodal transport strength of Gansu and Ningxia provinces was measured using principal component analysis, and a set of candidate multimodal transport hubs was selected for both provinces. The gravity model was employed to determine the radiation scope of the hub central stations. The affiliation relationships between regions were identified using a membership degree model, and the entropy-weighted TOPSIS method was applied to evaluate and analyze the comprehensive strength of the freight terminals in various cities, ultimately identifying the end nodes of the multimodal transport network. The results show that establishing a multi-hub mixed axle-hub multimodal transport network model with Lanzhou Dongchuan and Yinchuan South as primary hub central stations, and locations such as Jiuquan,Wuwei South, and Tianshui as secondary hub central stations,is both reasonable and feasible.
