The effect of water reducing agent on the water resistance of magnesium oxychloride cement
Magnesium Oxychloride Cement(MOC)was chosen as the focal point of the research in order to re-fine its mixture design, with a specific focus on the impact of varying polycarboxylic acid superplasticizer concentra-tions on the compressive strength, flexural strength, and softening coefficient of MOC.The findings indicate that when the magnesium oxide to magnesium chloride molar ratio is 7∶1,the water to magnesium chloride molar ratio is 15∶1,and the optimal addition of PCE superplasticizer is 1.2 wt%,MOC exhibits superior mechanical properties and water resistance.
