High-altitude tunnel construction oxygen supply standards based on labor intensity study
Currently, the number of high-altitude tunnel construction projects in China is gradually increas-ing.To address the low-oxygen environment challenges in high-altitude tunnel construction, this study first con-ducted a systematic theoretical analysis of the high-altitude tunnel construction environment.Based on this analy-sis,field measurements were then employed to classify the labor intensity of key construction processes at different altitudes. The study also established appropriate oxygen supply altitudes and concentration standards for high-alti-tude tunnel construction. The results indicate that when the altitude exceeds 4 000 meters, the labor intensity of key construction processes in high-altitude tunnels is one level higher compared to plain areas.Based on the anal-ysis of labor intensity, the study determined that the suitable oxygen supply altitude for high-altitude tunnel con-struction is 4 000 meters and proposed safety and comfort-oriented oxygen concentration standards for different construction processes.
