This paper uses python programming language to develop an automatic statistical analysis application for the quality control of regional automatic weather stations in Gansu Province,which can automatically link to the background database of regional automatic stations of Gansu Meteorological Data Business System(MDOS),screen and analyize the suspected data of regional automatic stations in Gansu Province by site,element and type of quality control in each month of the year,and fast and automatically generate EXCEL statistical graphs and tables as well as WORD format of regional station monthly data quality analysis report template of Gansu Province.The business application of the program is of great significance to improve the reliability of regional station equipment operation and data availability.
