Phenological Characteristics of Reeds in the Nomuhong Area and Their Response to Climate Change
Using the observation data of reed phenology at the Nomuhong Agricultural Meteorological Observatory and corresponding meteorological data such as temperature, precipitation, and sunshine, this article analyzes the characteristics of reed phenology changes and their response to climate change in the Nomuhong area of Qinghai Province. The results showed that the number of days between the leaf expansion period, flowering period, seed maturity period, and yellow withering period of reeds in the Nomuhong area show a shortened trend, the average temperature and minimum temperature show a warming trend, the highest temperature shows a decreasing trend, and the precipitation and sunshine hours show a decreasing trend. This trend changes constitute the climate background environment of the reed growing season in the Nuomuhong area. The response of reed phenology to climate change shows a trend of shortening the number of days between leaf expansion, flowering, and withering periods. The analysis results have important guiding significance for the rational utilization of local climate resources, adjustment of agricultural industry structure, and reasonable real-time arrangement of production and field management, reducing the impact of unfavorable climate conditions on agricultural production, and providing scientific basis for protecting the ecological environment and preventing grassland degradation.
