Analysis of Climate Comfort in Rural and Pastoral Areas of Guinan County of Qinghai Province During Summer
Climate comfort is one of the factors influencing tourists'choice of travel destinations.Selecting ground observation data from the Guinan National Meteorological Station in Guinan County,Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture,Qinghai Province,from 1999 to 2022,and from the Taxiu Township meteorological observation station from 2016 to 2022,this article calculated The Temperature-Humidity Index(THI)and Wind Chill Index(WCI)respectively.Based on the grading standards of the THI,combined with the growth conditions of summer crops in rural areas and the length of the natural grass growth season in pastoral areas,the tourism season and the best travel period for Guinan's rural and grassland pastoral areas were determined.The research results could provide a reference for meteorological conditions for large-scale events such as the Guinan"Tibetan Embroidery,Song and Dance,Yak"Cultural Tourism Festival.It is an exploration and attempt to meet the diverse meteorological service needs of the public and has certain economic and social benefits.
