As an important heritage of Chinese culture,ancient Tibetan medical literature contains rich wisdom and clinical experience and is a brilliant gem of China's excellent traditional culture.It provides cultural nourishment for strengthening the collective consciousness of the Chinese nation.With the continuous development of information technology,big data,and artificial intelligence,corpora play a crucial role.The construction of a text corpus of ancient Tibetan medical literature aims to provide data support for the field of natural language processing in Tibetan medicine.Through the methods such as rescue protection,systematic organization,and digital processing,this initiative will fill the gap in the text corpus of ancient literature in the professional field of Tibetan medicine,pioneering the construction and research of corpora in this domain.It signifies that the research methods of literature and the research tools of linguistics are evolving from traditional approaches to more scientific and modern directions.This effort strives for broad applications in the standardization research of Tibetan medical terminology,word frequency statistics,dictionary compilation,clinical practice,knowledge mining,knowledge graphs,clinical decision support,intelligent consultation,cross-language corpus construction,machine translation,and deep learning.Based on the analysis of the importance of ancient Tibetan medicine literature,this paper further analyzes the necessity of text corpus construction,and on the basis of analyzing the difficulties and complexities of constructing text corpus in the field,discusses the coping strategies in depth,and gives the methods and general steps of constructing a text corpus of Tibetan medicine literature.This project is conducive to the development and effective utilization of ancient Tibetan medical literature resources and holds significant importance for promoting the development of Tibetan medicine,fostering the establishment of the discipline of Tibetan medical informatics,facilitating international exchange,and cultural dissemination.
