Application of High-density Electrical Resistivity Method in Groundwater Exploration:A Case Study of the Gaskule Lake Basin in Qinghai Province
The exploration and management of groundwater resources are crucial for ensuring the sustainable utilization of water resources. The Gaskule Lake Basin, located near the alluvial fan in front of the Kunlun Mountains in Mangya City,is relatively rich in groundwater resources.Enhancing the exploration of freshwater resources in this area is crucial for ensuring the sustainable development of the regional ecological environment. As an effective geophysical exploration method, the high-density resistivity method has shown its unique advantages in the field of groundwater exploration.Compared with the traditional resistivity method, the high-density resistivity method has higher spatial resolution and data acquisition efficiency, and can more accurately identify underground structures and aquifers. This paper mainly introduces the technical principles, methods, and application examples of the high-density resistivity method in groundwater exploration in the Gaskule Lake area.Based on the analysis of the geological landform and hydrogeological structure of the study area, the work of the high-density resistivity method was carried out.The inversion processing was conducted using the field survey data to provide a reliable basis for geophysical exploration data for determining the location of aquifers and stratigraphic changes. The application of this method in similar areas for water resource exploration has certain guiding significance.
