The Science and technology service industry is an important component of modern service industry.The article proposes the concept of generalized science and technology service industry and analyzes the income situation and composition,functions and trends of generalized technology service industry in 10 cities in China,and taking Beijing and Jinan as examples,briefly describes the practical experience of typical urban technology service industries.With the accelerated evolution of a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation,as well as the increasing importance of technological innovation in national strategies,the broad science and technology service industry will continue to show rapid development in the future.It is suggested to include the broad science and technology service industry in the key areas of the national and central city's"15th Five Year Plan"for national economy and scientific and technological innovation,and to study and formulate special plans.
