An Analysis on Xi Jinping's Foreign Affairs Thought——Based on the Report of the Twentieth National Congress of the Communist Party of China
The 20th Party Congress is an important milestone for China's development.It has given a distinctive kernel to the needs of China's diplomacy and the connotation of China's diplomacy,and outlined a clear roadmap for the development of China's diplomacy.Under the leadership of Xi Jinping's thought on diplomacy,the development,needs,structure and principles of Chinese diplomacy have also shown remarkable stability and innovation.General Secretary Xi Jinping's report to the 20th Party Congress made important pronouncements about the current development of Chinese diplomacy and the dynamics of the international landscape.The key points include,firstly,the interpretation of continuity,innovation,epoch and practice in Xi's diplomatic thinking;secondly,the overall development goals of China's diplomacy in the new era have become clearer;and thirdly,the establishment and clarification of China's self-image,including the"responsibility of a great power","image of a great power","diplomacy of a great power",which is closely centred on Xi Jinping's thought on diplomacy.The fourth is to unswervingly define China's development goals,deepen the opening-up pattern and strengthen the"One Belt,One Road"initiative to promote the community of human destiny and achieve win-win sharing.Therefore,from the diplomatic level,General Secretary Xi Jinping's report to the 20th Party Congress is a feedback of Xi Jinping's diplomatic thought,a comprehensive expression of the connotation of Xi Jinping's diplomatic thought,and a profound understanding of China's diplomatic pattern in Xi Jinping's diplomatic thought.
