Interaction and Coexistence:On Ethnic Exchange,Communication and Coexistence through Folk Songs"Huar"from Gansu and Qinghai Provinces
Folk songs"Huar",is a wonderful art form,rooting in the vast lands of Northwest China,which contains a long history and rich cultural connotations."Huar"is the brain child of the various minorities living there,which forms the solid foundations for cultural self-confidence and cultural identity on the basis of ethnic exchange,communication and coexistence in the Chinese northwest.In the melting pot of Chinese cultures,"Huar"boasts shared treasures,its melody has drifted throughout the long history of the varied cultures,and its lyrics are characteristic of ethnic cultures in these areas.With its artistic charm,it lightens the hearts of those living there when they sing it,truly demonstrating the social patterns of the all ethnic groups there.Taking the most popular"Huar"from Hezhou of Gansu Province as an example,which is widely performed in both Gansu and Qinghai provinces,this paper researches into the ethnic exchange,communication and coexistence in Gansu and Qinghai provinces from the perspective of the cultural characteristics of interaction and coexistence to provide nutrients for fostering the sense of community for the Chinese nation and offering spiritual strength for realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
